sonicLAB has released version 2.1 of its Cosmosƒ Saturn dynamic stochastic synthesizer and Cosmosƒ FX dynamic stochastic live audio input processor.
The new version replaces the existing Biquad Filters with State Variable Filters, one of most versatile filter types available, delivering fast response to modulation and rich resonance effects at extreme values.
The available filter types are again, LoPass, HiPass, Notch, BandPass and Formant.
On the link below, you can listen to some example sound results simply made of manipulating the same preset continuously.
Other changes are;
- some fonts have been changed on the GUI.
- Tempo sync feature with the DAW was broken and has been fixed now.
- Windows users of Cosmosƒ FX can now change the OSX default port address by setting it directly on the preset XML file.
We will release beginner level Cosmosƒ tutorials frequently and the first one is here.
Cosmosƒ Saturn for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is available in a bundle with Cosmosƒ FX, priced at 169 EUR. The update is free for existing registered users of Cosmosƒ Saturn.
