SonicPlanet has announced an update to its 3D sound synthesis application that gives the sound designer the principle dynamics of our universe.

A free update for registered users, version 1.3 of Creation comes with a new TimeWarp mode, Radial and Random initial force, and more.

Creation is an advanced sound design tool with a physical gravity space simulation engine with extraordinary audio-visual capabilities.

Changes in Creation v1.3

  • TimeWarp mode : Creation v1.3 delivers the entropy reading of its current state. Meaning that, it gives a value according the speed of the objects and randomness of their movement. After setting the lower and upper entropy limits, the TimeWarp mode will slow or speed up the system time, so that the entropy reading falls inside these limits when it is exceeded. You can think it like a compressor / expander, not on audio levels but on the entropy reading. As a result, you will see the object movement speeds changes as smooth accelerando / decelerando.
  • Radial and Random initial force : Until now, Creation was applying only random directional forces to its objects during a Bang event. Now we can apply radial directional force, so that the objects establish circular orbits around the masses depending on the initial force amount. We can also set the Random direction mode together, so that the objects establish their circular paths on horizontal or vertical planes randomly.
  • Creation Remote has been updated to support these new features.
  • The manual has been revised accordingly.
  • Some color modifications have been made.

Creation for Windows and Mac is available to purchase for 89 EUR.
