Soundation has announced that its online music production platform Soundation Studio now imports Midi files.
Add importing midi files to the growing list of features available in Soundation Studio, the online music making application. “Like everything else in Soundation, importing a midi file is easy, hit import midi file in the file menu, which automatically assigns a midi track, select an instrument and hit play,” says CEO Bil Bryant. “This is a real advancement to making music directly in your browser”, continues Bryant, “now that the Studio reads midi files we will start creating more virtual instruments”.
Soundation Studio is free and includes over 400 royalty free loops, 11 real time effects, 5 virtual instruments, audio recording, publish to web and/or Facebook, midi file importation, as well as, paid features like an in app searchable sound library, integrated sound shop and AudioLocker, a desktop app that lets you import and store your own loops and sounds in Soundation.
