Soundethers has announced the release of The Light, a new instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt, featuring a unique blend of field recordings and tuned textures.
The Light is a collection of deep tuned underscores, based on 25 original field recordings, built in the latest Free Photosynthesis Engine (1.4).
This is the last part of Soundethers’ complementary collection of four Kontakt 5 libraries based on field recording and textures.
Some fields are quite peculiar: people moving and whispering inside six naturally reverberating old churches in Rome, a long sample of a slow underwater breath, fireplaces close ups with cracklings and rumblings, pure crystals movements recorded from an old ‘700 lamp (tuned), 50 years old trains moving, and so on.
The Light features
- 50 patches made of layers with tuned textures and fields (best on C1 – C3 range, mapped from C0 to C6, MW assigned).
- 25 patches with each single raw field recordings, seamlessly looping (samples length from 30 sec. to 7+ mins.).
- Total patches 75 – 1.30 GB uncompressed, 44,100 / 24-bit WAV/NCW format.
The Light for Kontakt 5 or higher (full version) costs 25 EUR. Until February 10th, 2016, a 40% discount is available on all Soundethers libraries.
