Sonarworks has announced an updated to the SoundID Reference software that calibrates your speakers and studio headphones, so you can trust that every mix will translate.
The 5.1.0 update enables users of SoundID Reference to export presets to MERGING+ANUBIS as part of the newly announced Sonarworks partnership with Merging Technologies. This unique partnership will allow creators to access the SoundID Reference correction software directly in Anubis without the use of a computer.
In addition to the collaboration with Merging Technologies, the SoundID Reference 5.1.0 update has fixed over 35 bugs and improved audio driver logic and stability. It has also added the X-Curve and B&K 1974 predefined target curves, two of the most requested target curves by users.
With this update, SoundID Reference adds 25 new headphone models bringing the total of supported headphone profiles to 385. Here is a list of the added headphone models:
