Soundiron has announced the release of Steel Tones, a deeply resonant and beautifully tonal tongue drum for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Built by Hapi Tones, the Hapi Drum is a large, hollow steel-chambered acoustic instrument in the family of steel tongue drums. And we’ve pushed it even farther with our detailed sampling methods, excellent sound-shaping tools, extended atmospheric content and powerful UI features. Let your creativity flow with Steel Tones!
The library comes fully equipped with flexible control features, dual-layer sound shaping, key switching and a robust Arpeggiator system that provides lots of dynamic arpeggiation modes and step sequencer pattern creation.
There’s also a complete DSP effects rack, including convolution reverb with dozens of unique spaces, such as cathedrals, churches, halls, bunkers, garages, tunnels, chambers, rooms and plenty of special FX impulses to fully explore and manipulate your sounds.
We’ve also included 50 sculpted ambiences and evolving synths, waveform-based tonal pad design tool and plenty of custom FX presets to provide endless creative possibilities.
