Sounds Outside the Lines has released Revolution-909, a drum sample sound library.
We love the 909 but we don’t love the instability or limitations of dealing with vintage hardware in a modern studio.
We took over a year analyzing and recording every sound of the original drum machine meticulously through high end outboard designed to capture the purity of an analog drum machine while adding a distinct coloration and punch.
We made model after model until we were completely happy with the results and we had a product that could completely replace the hardware in our own productions.
Revolution-909 features
- Intuitive user interface that mimics that actual hardware (Kontakt format).
- 7 Layers of Round Robin sampling for unique variations between individual drum hits.
- Available for Kontakt, EXS24 and all hardware and software samplers that support WAV format.
- Long sample lengths which preserve the natural decay of the drums without truncation.
