Soundtoys has announced the release of an update to its audio plugins. Version 5.4.3 comes with some crucial updates that should help everything run even more smoothly in your DAW.
This update will apply fixes and improvements to all Soundtoys version 5 or later plug-ins. It does not include a license for SuperPlate, which is included in the paid upgrade to Soundtoys 5.4. Log into your Soundtoys account to download the installers.

- SuperPlate now uses around 40% less CPU using optimizations tailored to your CPU.
- Eliminates CPU spiking at the start (or end) of clips or regions.
- Improved stability and performance when switching between Effect Rack presets in Logic on Apple Silicon.
- PrimalTap now has improved parameter mapping for low cut control.
- Improved VoiceOver support for Soundtoys uninstall utility on macOS.
- Effect Rack VST3 now dynamically updates automation parameter names.
- Fixes compatibility issues between PACE and GarageBand/Logic on Intel.
- Fixes excessive CPU usage when plug-ins receive MIDI input.
- Fixes excessive CPU usage with VST2 in FL Studio on Windows.
- Improved robustness of VST2 to VST3 replacement in Cakewalk and FL Studio.
- Fixes an issue where Little Plate could create an artifact on tempo change.
- Fixes an issue where Effect Rack might not recall bypass settings correctly in Cubase.
- Fixes an issue where SuperPlate could crash on older Intel CPUs.
The update is available to owners of respective products, while new customers can purchase the plugins at Soundtoys and from the Plugin Boutique store.
