Spitfire Audio has launched Andy’s KitBag Volume 2, a flute instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Adopting our new “Artisan” approach to sampling, in our purpose built dry environment in London’s Kings Cross, this next selection of flutes continues in this tradition: performance led virtual instruments that spring out of the box, full of personality, and incredibly useful for a wide range of styles and productions.
Andy’s Kit Bag features five seminal instruments recorded with normal and “artisan” style longs, slides, and other idiomatic articulations, and is presented with articulation specific keyswitch patches and the awesome “performance” patches that translate your playing style to conjoin with Andy’s passionate approach to performing on these instruments. Andy has used his acres of experience playing on many of the biggest movies and TV series through the years to offer up a stylistic approach not designed to educate us on the geographical or historical nature of these fine instruments but instead to add colour and tincture to your recordings. Inspiration, exotic flavours and other worldly sounds that would fit within many different contexts and styles.
The library is available for purchase for the introductory price of £79 GBP until April 2nd, 2015 (RRP £99 GBP).
