Spitfire Audio has recently launched a new library by composer Oliver Patrice Weder, inspired by an age-old shoe factory situated in a small village in Mallorca’s Tramuntana Mountains, which the composer calls home.
The ambient sounds within the factory sparked Weder’s imagination resulting in a one-of-a-kind library consisting of grinding machine loops, cinematic, echoed percussion and incredible ambient textures, swells and shorts.
The Shoe Factory embraces the unexpected, inviting composers to think outside the box, or rather, to see the beauty in the everyday. The library includes 57 presets and an easy-to-use and intuitive UI.
Following the production of ‘OPW’ and ‘The Pool Project’, composer Oliver Patrice Weder has created a library inspired by age-old factory machines and ambiences, working it into a versatile and creative virtual instrument. Featuring grinding machine loops, cinematic hits, endlessly ambient factory textures, swells and shorts, as well as his altered grand piano and characterful brass swells, both recorded in his living room, a former shoe factory.
This library is centred on industrial beauty and is perfect for finding inspiration for new pieces and making great compositions from the unexpected.
Running in the Spitfire App for Windows and Mac, The Shoe Factory is available to purchase for 99 GBP/USD/EUR.
