Splice has released some new sample packs on its Splice Sounds imprint.
The second in Oliver’s Power Tools Decades series of sample packs reimagines the iconic drum grooves from the 1990s.
The goal was to take these grooves to the next level with the latest processing and synthesis techniques, resulting in beats that hit harder and sound more dynamic than ever before – the perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation.
Sound Cycles contains 120 samples by multidisciplinary musician FAUZIA, who works across contemporary classical and electronic music.
FAUZIA’s sample pack combines the beauty of both worlds with a mix of contemporary classical music and club sounds, something for every producer. This sample pack features sounds made from the DFAM, Subharmonicon, OB-6 & Cello recordings. It represents the multiplicity of her taste while coming together to form a unique tapestry of sound.
A collection of vintage drums, synths, and effects, The Kount Sample Pack Vol. 4 offers up some cutting edge sounds while still retaining the rare human touch that The Kount is known for.
Each crunchy one shot, tasteful melodic sample, and bouncy drum loop has been carefully inspected to meet The Kount’s rigorous standards, and field-tested in a variety of real-life beat scenarios to ensure that their quality cuts through even the densest of mixes.
All packs and individual samples are available to Splice subscribers. New users can sign up for a 14-day free trial to try Splice Sounds.
