Splice has launched a new title in the series of Building Blocks sample packs in collaboration with Resident Advisor: ANNA’s Deconstruct Sample Pack.
ANNA, the globally renowned techno DJ from Brazil, has furthered her sound and crafted a wave of new music over the last few years. She has released her always powerful, driving sounds on essential labels like Drumcode, Novamute, and Domino among many more. She’s also an in-demand remixer who has taken on classics such as “Belfast” by Orbital, “Howler” by Martin Gore’s Depeche Mode, “Trilogy” by Chris Liebing, and Grimes’s ‘”So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth” – all of which demonstrate her diversity. Add in original singles such as “Another Dream” on Ahead of Our Time, “Overflow” on an Afterlife compilation, “High Contrast” on the legendary Plus8 and an EP on Drumcode, and you have an artist at the top of her game.
Today’s success has been two decades in the making, stretching back to the nightclub her father owned in the countryside outside São Paulo, where she honed her craft as a DJ from the age of 14. Her journey since then has been marked by passion, hard work, and an unrelenting dedication to her craft.
2022 is already shaping up to be a huge year for ANNA with a new EP on Afterlife as well as remixes of Adam Beyer & DJ Rush and “Isaac” from Stephan Bodzin’s new album all in the pipeline. Add in headline gigs at iconic clubs like Coachella, Rave Rebels Belgium, Awakenings Festival, and Warung Brazil and there is no escaping the irresistible sounds of ANNA. It doesn’t end there for this powerhouse.
Available to Splice subscribers, the pack contains 210 loops and one shots, including bass, synths, leads, drums, and more. New users can sign up for a 14-day free trial to try Splice Sounds.
