Steinberg has announced the release of a fully functional Cubase Elements 6 trial version.

Built on the award-winning 32-bit floating-point Steinberg audio engine Cubase Elements 6 offers the sound quality relished by professionals around the globe. Included are the classic Cubase recording, editing and mixing tools as well as the HALion Sonic SE workstation, the Prologue synthesizer and the Groove Agent ONE pad drum machine plus 33 audio effects for wide-ranging sound variation. Also available as native 64-bit version and cross-platform compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Cubase Elements 6 runs up to 64 MIDI tracks and 48 audio tracks in full 96 kHz/24-bit DVD quality.
“Notably, Steinberg trial versions don’t come with any functional restrictions and the demo version of Cubase Elements 6 is no exception. Anyone who’s interested in music production is welcome to try out all the elemental tools and approaches that have put Steinberg at the helm of the industry,” comments Helge Vogt, product marketing manager at Steinberg.
