Steinberg has announced it will be as present as ever at this year’s Musikmesse trade show in Frankfurt, Germany.
There will be acclaimed artists hosting half-hour shows, demonstrating their production and songwriting capabilities. Next to the stations that allow visitors to get hands-on with Cubase Pro 9, HALion 6 and Dorico, Steinberg will also be holding a photo contest around its UR audio interfaces, with many exciting prizes to win.
Steinberg will be welcoming trade show guests in the exhibition area of Yamaha (i.e., the Portalhaus next to Hall 11), presenting, among others, its latest product releases: Cubase Pro 9, HALion 6 and Dorico. Together with Yamaha, Steinberg will be showcasing a preview of Nuendo 8, the next iteration of Steinberg’s post-production DAW scheduled for June this year.
Close to the hands-on stations, visitors will be given the opportunity to participate in the #URamazing photo contest. Participants are required to take photos depicting themselves alongside an audio interface of Steinberg’s UR series, which are then uploaded to the voting website, available from April 5 onward. Participants with the most votes have the chance to win one of over a hundred prizes that will be awarded throughout the forthcoming weeks.
The Steinberg artist shows will be hosted on one of the Yamaha stages, scheduled for the early afternoon of each day. Hailing from Madrid, producer and songwriter Eduardo Ostos aka Ed is Dead will be taking the audience through the stages of producing one of his latest releases. Welsh producer Jayce Lewis will be talking about recording guitars while Oliver Palotai from American power metal band Kamelot will provide his very own production tips. Helen Jane Long, British composer and pianist, is showing recording techniques when working in Cubase.
From the begin of Musikmesse to September 30th, 2017, Steinberg is offering a promotional deal of 50% on the upgrade from Cubase AI to Cubase Artist. Cubase AI is a small version of Cubase Pro, already included with Steinberg hardware and selected Yamaha equipment. This offer is available at participating retailers.
Cubasis 2 and Cubasis LE 2 are now available as versions 2.1, with RoomWorks SE, a new MIDI Editor, Audiobus 3 support (Cubasis only) and more than 40 user-requested improvements to the award-winning music sequencer app for the iPad.
Until April 10th, 2017, both Cubasis 2 and the Cubasis Full Feature Set in-app purchase as well as the FX Pack in-app purchases are available at a 50% discount.
