Steinberg has announced the release of Jazz Essentials, a new expansion set for Groove Agent 4.
Jazz Essentials provides a selection of authentic Styles that add to the wide array of presets available in the Acoustic Agent, one of three Agents that comprise the Groove Agent 4 drum software instrument and its sibling Groove Agent SE 4 included in the Cubase Pro 8 and Cubase Artist 8 digital audio workstations.
The Acoustic Agent in Groove Agent 4 includes the Style Player, allowing users to choose from more than 50 presets or Styles, each including intros, main parts, fills and endings. Jazz Essentials complements the existing presets with ten Styles created especially for jazz music, conveying the vibrant energy of jazz drums with a slew of tempos, time signatures and other rhythmic intricacies.
“A lot of effort was put into Jazz Essentials to deliver the authenticity and sophistication expected from discerning musicians of this genre,” said Matthias Quellmann, product marketing manager at Steinberg.
Jazz Essentials features
- 10 jazz Styles for the Acoustic Agent drum kits in Groove Agent 4 and Groove Agent SE 4.
