Decent Samples has announced the release of a free sample library featuring the charming plucked sound of a bowl back mandolin from the early 1900s.
Stella Mandolin also includes bonus cinematic pads.
The instrument sampled is a Stella Bowlback Mandolin from the early 1900s. Stella was one of several brands made by the Oscar Schmidt Company which, at the time, was one of the biggest manufacturers of musical instruments in the first half of the 20th century.
The library is available to download for the free Decent Sampler player plugin for Windows, Mac and Linux (VST/VST3, AU, AAX and standalone).
