STL Tones has announced the release of version 1.6.1 of its plugin suite which includes an expanding collection of amps, cabinets, pedals, and post-effects modules.

The update adds the Fenix HR Ville 1996 amplifier model, 4×10 Fenix HR Ville 1996 cabinet model (11 microphones), and new presets in the “STL Tones” bank.

The Fenix HR Ville is based on the legendary Fender™ DeVille™ 410 USA combo amplifier. The DeVille 410 features four 10-inch speakers, providing a rich and full-bodied tone that’s perfect for both clean and overdriven sounds. It has a Clean channel and a Drive channel (with two different modes) allowing you to easily achieve a wide range of tones, from sparkling cleans to gritty crunch and everything in between.

Additionally, a problem with sampling rate inconsistency on Siren Chorus HP/LP filters has been fixed.

The update is free for AmpHub All-Access subscribers ($10 USD/month or $100 USD/year), and an outright license for the Fenix HR Ville 1996 Model is priced $49.99 USD.
