TAL Software has announced the release of TAL-Drum, an easy-to-use sampler for drums, short samples, and loops inspired by the ’80s drum samplers with a modern workflow.
The lightweight virtual instrument aims to deliver a fast workflow with sample, pad, and mapping drag and drop on up to 32 pads with 4 layers, which can be routed to up to 16 stereo outputs. TAL-Drum features an LFO, spline envelope, amp AHDSR and two modulation AHDSR for every mapping.
It also comes a variety of time stretch modes (high quality Crisp or Smooth, and Vintage AK4I Cycle), realtime lo-fi effects, and a slice editor. You can record audio and create samples directly in the plugin, with support for common audio formats (wav, aif, flac, ogg, mp3).
A collection of over 20 Factory kits is included, with more than 600 samples by Goldbaby, emptyvessel, Solidtrax and Saif Sameer. The demo version includes a single kit.
Available for Windows, Mac and Linux in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, TAL-Drum is on sale at a 20% introductory discount for a limited time (regular $60 USD).
The plugin is available to purchase at Plugin Boutique and from the TAL Software store.
