Techivation marks the third anniversary of its free de-esser effect plugin for Windows and Mac with the release of a major update.
T-De-Esser 2 addresses harshness and sibilance issues even more naturally and musically than the original version. It enhances the overall mix in a gentle, pleasing manner and can be used on individual tracks, group tracks, or the master buss without causing undesirable effects or artefacts.
The entire DSP algorithm in the T-De-Esser 2 has been upgraded, and it is equipped with additional features. The plugin also boasts the brand-new MK2 user interface from Techivation’s T series, enhancing workflow and making it more user-friendly.
T-De-Esser 2 has been designed with simplicity in mind. It is fast to set up and easy to use, yet allows you to adjust the processing to your needs.
Start setting up the plug-in by enabling “Filter” output and choosing one of the four frequency range modes. Next, set the plug-in sensitivity by tuning the Processing knob. Finally, adjust the Intensity and Sharpness of the de-esser to your taste.
The plugin is available to download in VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats.
