That Sound has announced the release of Anml Mnstr Mchne, a new drum sample library by drummer, producer, and beatmaker Darren King.
You’re probably familiar with Darren King, the passionate drummer who’s playing is so unhinged it requires gaff taping headphones onto his head to keep the music in his ears. Year after year, night after night, Darren took the stage with some of our favorite musicians and blew our minds with an inspiring blend of intensity and facility. Well now, we’d like to welcome you to the other side. Bruce Lee once said, “the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one’s potential.”
Animal Monster Machine (Anml Mnstr Mchne) is an invitation into that sincere and honest development. It’s an invitation into the musical evolution of Darren’s soul and skill, and it’s represented in three forms: The Anml. The Mnstr. The Mchne. (Anml) You’ll come to find the sounds in this library to be animalistic in nature. Dominant on their own, but submissive to the overall composition. The loop combinations are intuitive; full of good instincts and perfect for your songwriting. (Mnstr) You’ll also discover sounds that are less thoughtful and more hostile and beastly.
