The Sound Gardxn has announced the release of a new sound library for the Straylight granular-based Kontakt instrument by Native Instruments.
Mortal Dust features 50 granular presets inspired by composers such as Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Tori Letzler and Lorn. The soundset takes carefully crafted gritty samples from Instruō and Noise Engineering eurorack VCO’s, and then filters, modulates and morphs them into hazy, dreamy, lofi, folded, rhythmic, introspective, pensive, gravelly, cinematic sound designs.
The pack also includes WAV samples and loops for the granular engine, while the sample engine has been intentionally left empty to allow you to add your own samples to compliment the feeling for each preset.
Mortal Dust is on sale for an introductory price of $20 AUD until March 19th, 2022 (regular $25 AUD).
