The Unfinished has announced the release of Uno LX Protozoa, a collection of 150 patches for Togu Audio Line’s TAL-U-NO-LX software emulation of the classic Roland Juno 60 synth.
Protozoa brings you warm and cinematic synth sounds, intimate in nature, but powerful in depth: soaring leads, delicate keys, resonant sequences, deep pulses, punchy basses and dramatic pads.
There’s a broad range of widescreen, emotive patches, pushing the simple sonic architecture of the Juno 60 synthesizer to its limits. That classic Roland vibe is able to produce sounds that are smooth, crunchy, warm, gritty, noisy and pure. Protozoa takes that vibe and provides a rich palette ready to add some analogue bite and dynamism, perfect for modern film, TV and game scoring.
This collection gives you a little bit of everything, from Tangerine Dream and Vangelis to Olafur Arnalds and Johann Johannsson, with a hint of Stranger Things and Sasha along the way. Great for adding a touch of classic synthiness to your composing work, but equally at home in the realms of ambient, techno and synthwave.
