Sound design boutique company The Very Loud Indeed Co. has introduced its latest sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Developed by veteran sound designer for videogames and The Very Loud Indeed Co.’s founder Richie Nieto, OUTLAND II: Dark Scoring Textures contains 100 character-filled cinematic textural sounds.
This collection is particularly well-suited for dark drama, thrillers, and tension scoring, but it also lends itself quite well for action projects.
All the sounds in OUTLAND are highly responsive to MIDI velocity and modulation, making them very expressive and versatile. And using the envelope, filters, EQ and FX controls, they can be reshaped into anything, from percussive pulses to ethereal pads to organic leads. This makes it possible for an entire project to be scored using only this library.
The library includes 100 audio files at 24 bit/48 kHz resolution. All the sound files are in WAV format, so they can be used in other samplers or directly in a DAW.
OUTLAND II: Dark Scoring Textures runs in the full version of Kontakt 6.8 or later. It is on sale for the introductory price of $29 USD until November 14th, 2024 (regular $49 USD).
