Toontrack has announced the release of a new expansion for its EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 virtual instrument. Tailored for experimental sound design and creative beat making, Elements EZX delivers a multi-dimensional display of organic, electronic and viscerally evocative sounds.

Presenting a total of 30 unique kits distributed across three conceptually different libraries, this is an all-encompassing collection of multi-spatial sounds designed to live in a nameless divide where genres, styles and narratives are secondary. Frankly, this is an EZX for fearless exploration – loaded with sounds that have the power to awaken the senses.

The Elements EZX was produced, engineered and mixed by visionary sound design artist Alex Shulga. It features a carefully curated collection of analog drum machines and vintage synths layered with live percussion, field recordings and organic sounds involving anything from ice hitting a frozen lake to birds, dolphins and whales. Each sound was individually mixed and run through its own unique chains of outboard, effects and treatments to ensure that every single sample in a kit had its own harmonic space reserved. To add, each kit has a bespoke architecture of macro controls available in the mixer, enabling you to finesse its overall vibe as well as sample lengths and additional effect saturation on an instrument level. All in all, this EZX presents the absolute highest echelon of sound design and touches the very fringes of what can be done with extreme audio engineering.

The Elements EZX is available to purchase for $89 USD / 89 EUR at the Toontrack store and from distributors PluginFox and Best Service.
