Triple Spiral Audio has launched the second soundset in the Discovery series of sound libraries for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 virtual instrument.
Discovery Horror comes with a collection of 100 new presets, 25 multis and 92 sound sources.
The sounds in the soundset are filled with eerie, haunting and mysterious sounds. All the sounds have modulation via the modwheel and aftertouch and in a lot of cases the pitchwheel adds some ambience and the CC2 some movement. The inspiration comes from shows like Westworld, Stranger Things, The Dark and in music from Trent Reznor, Charlie Clouser and Mica Levi.
In the presets there is an extensive use of the modwheel, aftertouch, pitchweel and CC2 to enhance the sounds. Often sounds start as a fairly basic sound, but with the use of various controllers you can add a lot of depth to your sound so that it can match your productions.
Discovery Horror is available for the intro price of 14.95 EUR until April 22nd, 2019.
A Deluxe version includes 25 additional presets and 10 extra multis with the use of the Keyscape sound source library. It is available for the intro price of 17.95 EUR.
The full Discovery and Discovery Deluxe series (6 libraries) are on sale for 62.50 EUR and 75 EUR during the intro promotion, respectively.
