Triple Spiral Audio has announced the release of Journeys, its latest sound library for Omnisphere 2 virtual instrument by Spectrasonics.
This new soundset with an experimental character features 128 patches created from the original Omnisphere 2 sound sources, divided into 2 categories.
“Textures Playable” comprises patches using the standard tuning system, with some sort of a tonal foundation, while “Textures Soundscapes” features patches that use the many different tuning systems available in Omnisphere 2. These offer experimental, rich, strange, mysterious and ominous soundscapes that leaves the feeling of tonality behind.
Journeys is a soundset with a rich sound world featuring dystopian sounds, mystique surrealistic ambiences, cold harsh horror sounds and rich evolving futuristic sci-fi sounds.
It draws its inspiration from Dante’s Inferno from The Divine Comedy, The Stand from Stephing till the old Mad Max movies. Other sources of inspiration are the movies Contact and The Arrival and the great works of William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe and Salvador Dali.
Journeys is available for the intro price of 22.95 EUR until April 27th, 2018. The regular price is 29.95 EUR.
