Virtuasonic has announced Sinori Studio, a sample library based on a new musical instrument.
Sinori is a one of a kind percussion derived from a sheet of steel, capable of producing a wide range of interesting sounds thanks to its unorthodox design and shape that allows unique playing techniques, as well as the most traditional ones.
Virtuasonic has painstakingly recorded two Sinori models in collaboration with its creator: a standard version (Sinori Studio) and a special prototype (Sinori Live, already available). All the sounds taken during the recording sessions feature a wide range of playing techniques: drumsticks, mallets, hands, string bow, super-ball mallets, chains and body-playing, a special technique unique to this instrument.
Sinori Studio will be released in 2013. Prices and technical features TBA.
Virtuasonic has also announced a Bundles Party offer on all sample libraries, offering up to 50% off the list price. Additionally individual products (including plug-ins) are available at a 20% discount until January 7th, 2013. Use the coupon code nyparty at the checkout.
