Vox Samples has announced a new bitcrusher effect plugin that is designed to bring back that old-school hardware feel with bit-depth reduction.
Pixel Rabbit emulates low quality samplers, bringing a lo-fi, crunchy and digital sounding distortion to your audio.
Simply turn up the “Bit Crush” knob on the right (It’s huge, you can’t miss it) to start the distortion process. You’ll start hearing a noticeable distortion effect at more than 50%. If you find the sound dissappear at higher distortion levels, try turning up the “Gain” knob to induce more distortion! Use the “Mix” knob to blend in the dry signal to taste.
The plugin is free to download as a VST3 plugin for Windows and Mac.
