Waldorf Music has announced the release of a firmware update for its M hybrid wavetable synthesizer instrument.

Version 1.10 brings simple MPE support, a new algorithmic oscillator mode with new waveforms and oscillator models, and modulation capabilities for some additional parameters of the digital filters.

The MIDI Slave Clock is now much more stable, and issues with DSP performance and FM filters for modern mode have been fixed.

The update is available now in users’ “my waldorf” account in the “My Hardware” section.

Waldorf has also announced that its Quantum MK2 has sold out, and that the next production batch is expected to start around the end of the year. Furthermore, the Kyra and Kyra SE synthesizers have reached their end of life and will be discontinued. The synths are available from dealers worldwide as long as the stock lasts.
