Wavesfactory has announced the release of its new audio plugin Quantum, a transient shaper that lets you mix transients separately.
Featuring smart transient detection, the plugin comes with 16 high quality DSP effects that you can add to the attack or sustain part of the signal independently, boosting exponentially the sonic capabilities of the plugin.
Quantum is not a one-trick-pony, it’s quite the opposite. Think about it like a toolbox. It’s a comprehensive set of tools that let you control, mangle, manipulate and completely transform your tracks.
EQ your transients, re-pitch your drums without losing any of the attack, reduce plosives from vocals, why not EQ plosives only? Add reverb to just the attack of your drums to get a much more focused and clean room feel. Possibilities are really endless, and we are sure that you will come up with new ways of using it that we can’t imagine right now. Be creative!
Quantum has been been designed to be easy to use. It features a stripped down 2-band version of the acclaimed Spectre plugin, Retina-ready resizable user interface, Apple Silicon support, an auto updater, preset system with a wide collection of factory presets, and global mix and output volume parameters.
Quantum comes in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats. It is on sale for the introductory price of $99 USD / 99 EUR at Wavesfactory and from distributor Plugin Boutique until October 1st, 2021 (regular 149 USD/EUR).
