Wavesfactory has announced the release of its new Kontakt instrument library Strum Guitar, a collection of four guitars where all strums were sampled both up and down stroke.

The library features real strumming patterns with the sounds of electric, acoustic, electric 12 string and acoustic 12 string guitars, including all major and minor chords, upstroke and downstroke. The electric guitar was sampled via DI so you can apply your favorite effects.

The technique we used to sample these was the same that guitarists play: not all strings are struck, depending on the velocity of the hand. That’s what makes this instrument so unique.

Strum Guitar will save you time when making a quick demo of your song, and it can also be used for a final production.

The sample library delivers authentic strums with 5 velocity layers and 4 round robins (3,349 samples in total). An intelligent built-in sequencer with chord recognition analyzes and plays the desired chords in a realistic way and with tons of extra features to make it adapt to the needs of the song.

Strum Guitar is on sale at Wavesfactory and from Plugin Boutique for the introductory price of 49 EUR until May 19th, 2021 (regular 79 EUR).

The library requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.7.3 or higher.
