Xenos Soundworks has announced the release of a free collection of presets for the PG-8X software synthesizer by Martin Lüders.
Geared towards ’80s, Synthwave, and Pop music production, Nostalgia contains a sound bank with 66 presets for PG-8X, SysEx data for the JX-8P and compatible synths, alongside some bonus drum samples.
PG8X is an excellent freeware emulation of the Roland JX8P, great for Synthwave and other 80s-influenced music.
Our free ‘Nostalgia’ soundset contains 65+ quality PG8X patches (JX8P SysEx also included) covering the essentials of Synthwave/80s production. We’ve also added a pack of 10 royalty-free “electro” drum samples which were synthesized with PG8X and then enhanced with outboard processing.
