Soundsdivine has announced the release of Creative Impulses, a collection of impulse responses.
A small collection of 64 unique stereo impulse responses made using a range of hardware reverbs in combination with a eurorack modular system.
All IRs are 24bit / 96kHz in .wav format.
The library is available for purchase for 9 EUR. Requires a convolution reverb plug-in.
Creative Impulses are now included with MM+ instrument. Previous customers of MM+ can get a free copy of impulse library.

iMusicAlbum has announced the release of AltiSpace, a convolution reverb for iPad and iPhone.
The realistic sound of famous reverb equipment for your iPad and iPhone! Includes a large built-in library of the highest quality reverb impulses taken from actual devices and the possibility to upload your own reverb space impulses. Intuitive and compact user interface for maximum ease and efficiency.
What is the convolution reverb?
Briefly, convolution reverb is based on a process that digitally ‘captures’ the reverb characteristics of another reverb effects unit or the reverb response of a real acoustic space. It is based on the mathematical convolution operation, and uses a pre-recorded audio sample of the impulse response of the device or space being modeled. The process of convolution multiplies each sample of the audio to be processed (reverberated) with the samples in the impulse response file.
- High-quality, fast convolution algorithm.
- Parametric equaliser with high and low pass filters.
- Impulse response envelope editor with “reverse” function.
- Amplitude and frequence modulator.
- Stereo width control.
- Built-in library that contains more than 200 impulse responses from famous analogue and digital reverbs.
- Upload additional impulse responses in different audio formats.
- Preset hotkeys, possibility to save current sample and its params.
The app is available for purchase for $5.99 USD.

stw-audio has announced the release of REFLEX+, a delay algorithm based echo/reverb effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
REFLEX+ is capable of generating huge spaces, short rooms, or chorus like modulations through a cascade of regenerating delays.
It’s sound is a mixture of straight stereo delays followed by a dense cloud of reflections. It achieves a huge and spacey wideness with a decent amount of the two modulation sources.
- Short reflections up to endless reverberation.
- Delay/Reverb Modulation.
- 4 LFO modulation shapes.
- 6/18dB/oct Hi & Lopass filter.
- 5 Delay/Reverb algorithms.
REFLEX+ for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is available for purchase for 29 EUR.

PerforModule has announced the release of a free MultiBand Reverb for Ableton Live.
A reverb effect rack sending different calibrated reverb algorithms to the lows, mids, and highs. The lengths, widths, and shapes of each reverb chain are scaled compared to each other leading to very complex, smooth and lush sound which can be used from very short ambience “small box” reverbs to extremely long-tailed hall reverbs, and everything in between. The tone can be altered carefully with just a few macro controls to sculpt the sound with great versatility and ease.
Add in Low, Mid, or High reverberation, change the room size and tightness, and alter the tone with the cutoff and diffusion knobs.
The effect rack is a free download from PerforModule. Requires Ableton Live 9.

Audio Ease has updated its Altiverb reverb effect plug-in for Windows and Mac to version 7.2.2.
Altiverb 7 is the industry standard convolution reverb plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows. It uses top quality samples of real spaces to create reverb, ranging from Sydney Opera House to the cockpit of a Jumbo Jet.
Altiverb 7 is efficient on the cpu, offers many parameters to tweak reverb, is total recall automatable, and has 64 bit support. Every month Altiverb 7 users receive new impulse responses for free.
Changes in Altiverb v7.2.2
- AAX: AudioSuite delay removed when selecting tracks with different track counts.
- VST: Remembering of user IRs is working now.
- Win: Favorites are remembered now.
- AAX: Removed faulty AAX DSP versions in Altiverb in Pro Tools (Altiverb AAX DSP is not ready yet).
- VST: Better handling of speaker arrangements.
- OS X: DP no longer crashes when editing/showing IR automation in track.
- OS X: Installer improvement regarding a chmod.
- OS X: SSE version logging.
- Live: Short mute on stop removed.
- Removed logging of OpenGL errors.
- Some small optimizations in: resampler & hi-lores switch.
- Some other small improvements.
Altiverb is available for purchase for 499 EUR (Regular) / 849 EUR (XL). Prices excl. taxes.

Surreal Machines has launched Dub Machines, a collection of analog modelled dub delay devices for Ableton Live and Max for Live.
Whilst the designs of the Dub Machines devices take full advantage of their digital engines, their sonic power stems from analogue gear and the inspiration it provides. This means that once we‘ve studied, analyzed and recreated the analogue circuit with DSP… we start again!
At the heart of our design process, the technical model is subjected to ‚creative hearing‘ – we finetune everything by ear and challenge the model with creative ideas that transcend its original design. This can mean adding a dirty digital rectifier or pumping sustain into a pure and buttery reverberation system – the only concern being the Surreal Machines sound aesthetic, which is truly our own.
MAGNETIC is based on one of the most loved and tested tape delays but developed with digital twists.
DIFFUSE employs digital feedback network techniques with a nod to some legendary analogue hardware from the 70‘s-90‘s.
Our interfaces have been designed with musicians in mind: easy to use based on simple musical instinct, while opening the door to deep sonic exploration – for those on a quest for their very own, personal sound.
Dub Machines is available from Ableton for 29 EUR.

Exponential Audio has announced it will soon be shipping 3DLink for its surround reverbs.
3DLink is an extension to PhoenixVerb Surround and R2 Surround reverbs that supports reverb configurations up to 14.1, even on workstations without 3D tracks.
Dolby Atmos and Auro3D are the primary applications for 3DLink, but it can also be used for live applications as well as venues and attractions requiring height channels.
3DLink works by combining pairs of surround reverbs (one on low bus and the other on high) into single reverb entities, with audio shared in a natural way between the two. Parameters may be locked or independent. 3DLink may be used to synthesize a full 3D reverb from a simple 2D–or even mono–signal. 3DLink may also be used in conjunction with a 3D panner to create a fully responsive reverb, with natural propagation of input from up to 15 simultaneous channels–high and low.
3DLink for Surround reverbs will be part of the v1.1.0 release, which will be free to all licensed users.
