Nicolas Morin has announced an update to the 1BITDRAGON music creation software that is designed to be fun and easy to use.
Version 2.0 comes with MIDI export, allowing you to integrate it into an existing studio setup.
1BITDRAGON is a small music creation software that allows you to quickly create your own songs in minutes. 1BITDRAGON is designed to be simple, instant and fun. It is possible to create a basic melody in a few steps, and to compose a song in a few minutes. You can record finished tracks and export them as WAV or MIDI files.
This software is great for electronic music, indie gaming music, chiptunes, and such stuff. It’s easy to use, the settings are few and simple. It can be used, for example, to teach children and beginners how a DAW works.
1BITDRAGON includes 175 “handmade” instruments and 150 drum sounds, alongside 66 ready-to-use patterns, 24 arpeggiator presets and 24 scales.
The software features a Euclidean rhythm generator and an integrated “live mode”.
1BITDRAGON is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, priced $20 USD + VAT.
