Loopmasters has introduced 5Pin Media’s latest sound pack Bass Line Sequences Vol. 1, a collection of bass loops and MIDI files tailor-made for Minimal Techno, Hypnotic Techno, Deep Tech, and Tech House.
We fired up 12 of our prized sequencer-driven analogue bass boxes and a couple of our favourite software bassline emulations to bring you a diverse sound palette with spades of character that range from minimal, percussive, classic acid, to downright unruly.
The main goal behind this collection was to create variations for a given pattern that can be combined in interesting ways. Typically, you will find each successive version has a more aggressive tone and/or variations in expression – think of it as varying shades of the loop which can be used to build a more complex and evolving 8 or 16-bar section in your composition. This will make the part more dynamic and feel less like a single static 4-bar loop.
