Plugin Boutique has released the Vintage Funk & Disco Dual Kit Pack, a bundle of two Kontakt Player powered drum kits by Drumdrops.
This Library contains both kits, with all their previous features, and now both kits are also fully NKS compatible. This means that the kits will now work intuitively and seamlessly with any Native Instruments S-Series keyboard and Maschine via Komplete Kontrol. You can load snapshots, edit parameters and much more all from your Komplete Kontrol keyboard.
When customers purchase this kit they will receive a serial number that will need to be licensed in the Native Instruments license manager. Both of these kits were recorded and mixed by Mike Pelanconi with drummer Jan Kincaid at The Ironworks, Brighton.
The instruments provide the user with complete control over each of the drums with the inbuilt mixer. A mic mixer feature allows you to adjust the mix of the close mics, room mics and overheads used to record the kit on each drum, giving you absolute control.
The instruments also allow you to add convolution reverbs that have been sampled from a variety of the studios and outboard used, as well as two delay settings. To increase the realism of the overall sound, multiple round robin samples have been included utilizing the included samples and there is also a randomization tool.
Each channel comes with a 4-band equalizer, compressor, shape feature and tape saturation. The stereo buss has its own compressor, limiter, EQ, Crush and image tools. It comes with a selection of MIDI maps including full compatability with Roland V-drums and the DTX900. However the new Kontakt instruments also allows drummers to build their own custom MIDI maps to suit their kit perfectly.
The Vintage Funk & Disco Dual Pack is available from Plugin Boutique at 30% off until February 1st, 2018. The Vintage Funk Kit for Kontakt is also on sale.
