McDSP has announced iLok Cloud support for its entire product line.
This new feature, available as a free update in McDSP plug-ins v6.5 and later, allows McDSP customers to choose between using an iLok dongle and the new iLok Cloud authorization process.
With iLok Cloud, McDSP plug-ins no longer require an iLok. Users are only required to have an iLok account, which can be setup for free at www.ilok.com. Users must also install the latest version of iLok License Manager so they can manage their authorizations and activate an iLok Cloud session.
An active internet connection is required for all iLok Cloud sessions.
