Luftrum has announced the release of Juno Elixir, the debut soundset by Mononic, a Danish psybient, ambient and electronic artist.
The pack contains 100 patches for the TAL-U-NO-LX synthesizer instrument by Togu Audio Line.
For those who do not know, then TAL U-No-Lx is an accurate emulation of the Juno 60. The inexpensive $60 price together with zero delay feedback filters and outstanding sound, makes it a very attractive alternative to the ~$2500 hardware synth. (we should get commission for this kind of endorsement but we don’t, we simply just love the synth!)
The soundset are full of patches with carefully dialed-in dynamics and movement, with the same special something that are heard in Luftrum sounds. Juno Elixir are contemporary patches for a retro synth, with fragile pads and arpeggios from bright to soaringly dark, there’s deep somber basses, broken-type sounds and tense basslines. Over half the basses are sequenced with rhythmic patterns.
There’s also 17 Luftrum presets in the set, which are Luftrum versions of Mononic presets – so there’s a lot of sonic variety, just listen to the demos below that range from cinematic to EDM.
The soundset costs $19 USD. Use promo code REKKERD at the checkout to get a 10% discount on any purchase at the Luftrum store.
