Marco Scherer has launched a new Drum Depot series sample pack titled Blck_Noir, a collection of pure analog drums with a dark soul.
The Blck_Noir module by Endorphines features some smacky drums, which were recorded in four variations each and given lovely analogue treatment. Each kit comes with four kicks, snares, hats and toms each, which you can play sequentially to get the most possible analogue feeling.
As stated in the modules manual: „There’s no clap in Blck_Noir, because no one claps in hell“. Indeed! The resulting drum kits are perfectly suitable for Electro, Hip-Hop, Synth-Pop, Industrial & Techno.
The Blck_Noir pack includes:
- 18 Endorphines Blck_Noir Drum Kits.
- 288 Samples, properly named and also sorted by category.
- 100+ MIDI Drum Patterns.
- Supported formats: Battery 3+, Kontakt 5+, Ableton Live 9+, Maschine 2+, Geist & Geist Lite 1+, all SFZ & WAV compatible samplers.
The pack is available for 8.99 EUR. The MPC Live/X/Touch/Software edition will be available at Akai’s Expansion Exchange, featuring color coded pads, demo sequences and more.
