Prime Loops has introduced two Toy Drums vintage kits series sample packs by Bullyfinger.
Toy Drums and Toy Drums 2 both feature a collection of 8-bit, crunchy, lofi drum one-shots ready to drag-and-drop into your favorite sampler.
Each pack comes with 135 samples, including cymbals, hi-hats, snares, kicks, toms, percussion and more.
We love that classic video gaming, home keyboard sound. The 8-bit, crunchy, lofi drums that the 80’s brought us due to the limitations of the machines.
Add another dimension to your production with these high-quality samples of vintage machines and some odd tricks run through high-quality preamps from SSL and API and a sweet analog Neve tape emulator unit. To preserve their natural sound, we recorded the cleanest units available and didn’t add any extra coloring beyond the units stated.

The sounds were created with vintage machines from Casio (MT-45, Rapman, MT-205, CT-6000, PT-50, MT-18), the Yamaha PSS480, Omnichord OM84, and Radioshack Electronic Drums.
