W.A. Production has announced its new “What About” series sound pack Techno Extract, a collection of loops, samples and Spire presets designed for Techno music production.
The pack delivers the sounds of the dark and dirty side of electronic music, featuring hard and heavy Tech bass, industrial FX and noise, and dark melodic synth lines.
The bass bangs hard and the synths bite back. Claps are like rapid machine-gun fire, snares are like glitches of static and hi-hats are made by press machines in a manufacturing shop.
The energy is high, the sounds are raw, and the mood is almost sinister. Alarms chime, the air crackles and dissipate into the thick build-up of tension building chaos. The bass has a frog-like ribbit sequence, the machines wind down in a swirl to a grinding halt.
8-bit synth stabs are converted into deep and sharp attacks. An onslaught of high analog plucks, reverberating and distorted strums, deep bass growls, and snarls with a low-end push of a hardstyle kick drum.
