Softube has announced a new partnership with Empirical Labs, and the release of four new products: Mike-E Comp, Lil FrEQ, Trak Pak for Console 1, and Empirical Labs Complete Collection.
ELI and founder Dave Derr are well known for creating audio processing hardware that sounds amazing, and now we’ve created analog component modeling-based plug-in versions in close collaboration with Dave Derr himself.
Both Softube and ELI take pride in the high standard of quality and craftsmanship in their work, and our philosophies are so similar that it’s surprising we didn’t do this sooner. Check out the results of this match made in sonic heaven. You won’t be disappointed.
Mike-E is compression and saturation based on the famous ELI Distressor with a punchy preamp riding shotgun, Lil FrEQ rocks a warm yet extremely punchy retro sound uncommon to equalizing, and Console 1 users can take advantage of the features of both plugins in the Trak Pak channel strip.
The new plugins are available at the introductory price of 199 USD/EUR each from Softube and distributor Plugin Boutique until March 23rd, 2021.
The Empirical Labs Complete Collection bundles all three products at a reduced price of 349 USD/EUR during the promotion.
Plugin Boutique’s newsletter readers can get an additional 10% discount during the intro sale.
