GREAT idea! I hope other developers notice this downsizing and it becomes a trend. All the mega-super-colossal sized sample libraries are just 90% junk, with tricky useless junk nobody cares about.
All I care about is the sound. I just want the standard expected samples with great sound, not a bunch of ticks, slides, squawks and thumps that I can’t even believe someone would bother recording, especially at a resolution that no one will ever hear because it’s 4x beyond the human hearing range.
