Echotailor has announced the release of a soundset for the Diva virtual analog synthesizer from u-he.
Inspired by the vintage synths and sound design used in the Blade Runner (1982) soundtrack, The Tyrell Collection features a collection of presets that allow you to create classic sounds resembling the tech-noir melodies and sonic textures made famous by Vangelis.
If one soft-synth could capture the spirit of the analog synths found in Nemo Studios back in 1981, it is u-he Diva. With its wide range of modelled vintage components and effects, along with versatile panel-swapping functionality, it was the hands-down best choice for the creation of The Tyrell Collection.
Utilizing Diva’s impressive oscillators, filters, envelopes and modulation processors, this preset library was meticulously created to capture the essence of the CS-80, VP-330, Prophet 10, Jupiter 4 and others. Diva’s sound design capabilities go beyond analog synthesis, yielding authentic sounding acoustic and percussion instruments.
The soundset contains 80 presets, with velocity sensitive envelopes and mod-wheel modulation allowing for dynamic expression. Presets also make use of Diva’s lush plate reverb, and all presets are classified, tagged, and globally tuned.
The Tyrell Collection is available for purchase for $19.99 USD. A free pack with 10 complimentary presets hand picked from the complete library is available to download.
