Voxengo has announced an update to the TEOTE automatic spectral balancer plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.7 add a new mode for the dynamics envelope, alongside some fixes and improvements.
TEOTE was designed to be a very useful tool for both mixing and mastering. It automatically performs such tasks like gentle resonances taming, de-essing, tilt equalizing, usually performed during mixing and mastering. In mixing, TEOTE sounds good on pretty much any material.
Changes in TEOTE v1.7
- Added “FX” mode switch which affects the plugin’s dynamics envelope. This improvement is backwards-compatible sound-wise; FX 1 corresponds to the previous version’s sound.
- Fixed the issues with “asynchronous drawing” with some audio host applications.
- Improved “Gain Change”‘s panel contrast: horizontal level lines are now better visible.
- Improved font rendering slightly.
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, TEOTE is on sale for $55 USD at Plugin Boutique until June 30th, 2021 (regular $79.95 USD).
