Homegrown Sounds has announced the release of a new MIDI instrument for Kontakt that has 4 LFO style sequencers that use interpolation to achieve an adjustable smooth shape from sequencer steps.
MIDI Mod uses the Interpolated LFOs developed for Interpolator and brings them to MIDI Control Changes. Played Notes pass directly through but there are 4 LFO Sequencers that can target up to 6 Control Changes. There is also a clocked Random source as well as a Pulse/Square wave like Modulator as well as Aftertouch and Mod Wheel. All of these sources can be assigned sent to any of the CC destinations.
There is also a CC Profile Editor for creating tailored named selections for the menus. Just name the parameters and leave the ones you don’t want blank and only those that are named will be available in the menus.
Available for the full version of Kontakt, MIDI Mod is on sale for $19.99 USD for a limited time (regular $29.99 USD).
Sales of this instrument will add to the Serenity Group Buy membership number. About to reach level 7, the group buy will see the additional of Formula, a sequencing system that uses 12 Euclidean sequencers designed to target a drum or one shot sample instrument via MIDI.
