Majetone has announced an update to the Extended Glockenspiel sample library for Kontakt. Version 1.2 is less voice intensive, has a lower CPU usage, and comes with 100+ snapshots.
This instrument alongside the meticulous hard and soft mallet sampling, features being played with a ping pong ball both struck and dropped, a bow, tape processing and digitally stretched.
Recorded with a selection of vintage, modern and un-usual mics through my capi pres. This is a different sort of Glockenspiel library.
Extended Glockenspiel features
- 3x Round Robins / Up to 4 Velocity Layers.
- 1.5 Octave Range (C2 – G3) – Stretched (C0 – C5).
- Recorded using classic tube mics, dynamics and ribbon mics into classic Brit & American preamps.
