IK Multimedia has announce the opening of a new preset-sharing community for its AmpliTube 5 amp simulation and guitar gear modeling software.
ToneNET enables AmpliTube’s 3.5 million registered users to explore a whole new dimension of music networking and enjoy a brand-new way to reach people who share the same passion and interest in making music.
ToneNET is a free web platform with social features dedicated to guitar and bass players and all AmpliTube 5 users. Everything is designed to make ToneNET your hub for exchanging AmpliTube presets with other users and for finding the latest ones from VIP artists and brands.
Day or night, you can find new sounds or upload your own with direct access to ToneNET from within any version of AmpliTube 5, even the free Custom Shop edition. You can also connect to ToneNET via a web browser for browsing, searching and selecting presets and to interact with other users.
ToneNET is free for all IK users in a public beta version as IK continues to add and refine features.
New users will need an IK account to join, but they don’t need AmpliTube 5 for creating their profile and connecting with others or simply watching a YouTube video on the platform. For uploading and downloading presets version 5.4 or greater of AmpliTube 5 is required.
