Past To Future Samples has introduced its latest drum sample library, which is inspired by the iconic sound of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
The meticulously crafted drum samples of Sgt. Pepper Drums! faithfully capture the essence and magic of the drums heard on Sgt. Pepper’s, bringing that timeless sound right into your creative arsenal.
To capture the true essence of the sound, we used vintage microphones and gear that were prevalent during the Sgt. Pepper’s recording sessions. Akg D19s, Studer tape machines, and a really cool sounding Fairchild replica with HUGE transformers and tube magic to give these drums life! These period-correct tools ensure that you achieve a great level of authenticity, enabling you to produce drum tracks that transport listeners back to the psychedelic soundscapes of the 60s!
The library comes with a custom-made Kontakt user interface with options to change the pitch, volume, and envelope of the drums. Wav files are included for use without Kontakt.
Also available is a library inspired by the 1970s album Let It Be.
Let It Be Drums! combines an early ’70s Ludwig Hollywood kit with 2 rack toms with a ’60s Ludwig Jazz Festival snare drum.
We also used genuine vintage Neumann U-67 and AKG D-19 Microphones and mic positions along with a bunch of cool tube gear for the thickest sound! Our drum sample library is carefully crafted to capture the essence and sound of the drums used in the album. We’ve meticulously recorded every drum hit with precision to ensure you get the most authentic sound possible.
