Plughugger has announced the release of a conceptual soundset focusing on atmospheric guitar sounds, based on the guitar samples in the Omnisphere Library.
The majority of the sounds are based on the recordings from the Hans Zimmer Guitars library (included in Omnisphere), but also features the more conceptual sounds like the experimental Oil Can Guitar to offset the cleanliness of the guitars, as well as distorted power guitars. The samples were then taken further with the processing engines in Omnisphere.
The main focus of this collection was to create an atmospheric library based on guitars, from angelic to the demonic and with an excursion to the bizarre and fantastic along the way.
